BORDER IS LAVA is the theme of YALP! Game Jam Festival.
This festival is our first attempt as a collective to engage with locals, creative collectives and urban gangs to play.
Within the framework of Gorizia and Nova Gorica European Capital of Culture, we invite people from different backgrounds, nationalities and ages to a 5-days festival that will take place across the border between Gorizia and Nova Gorica in the first week of September 2025.
Phase A: Pre-Production (January - July)
Communicating our proposal to strategic partners, inviting people to add their ideas, developing a custom-made proposal that matches participants and local inhabitants needs.
Phase B: Online Get together (August)
Introducing the project to the participants and vice versa through a series of playful online meetings to break the ice and build initial trust.
Phase C: YALP! Game Jam Play Fest (1st week of September)
